Finding inspiration in Ferrucio Lamborghini’s passion for bullfighting, we were keen to explore the art of “Cor rida de Toros.” There is a common thread between bullfighting and Lamborghini’s brand identity: both exude an impression of power, strength, and impossibility.
In order to create a gateway to Lamborghini which feels true to the brand, we propose to build a pair of unique but related sculptures which abstract the physical form and kinetic movement of Ferrucio’s beloved bulls. The final forms were also influenced by the supercars themselves, as well as the contemporary and geometric architecture of Lamborghini’s nearby headquarters. These monuments will light the way from Bologna to Modena, creating a bold landmark that aintains sensitivity to the rural landscape beyond.
Our design aims to elebrate the growth and incredible success of Lamborghini, as well as to inspire and positively impact the residents of Sant’Agata who have been helping the brand to thrive for the past half-century.
